We had a fantastic time at HOW Design Live 2019. The International Paper booth was full of people hand pulling their own screen-printed Accent® Opaque sketchbooks featuring custom artwork from Flat Planet Press — and clearly having a blast.
If you attended Adobe MAX 2018, Adobe’s annual “Creativity Conference,” you likely encountered a certain retro-looking paper-craft television set called the Accent TV. It was designed to bring the history of the Accent A to life, and now it’s officially an award winner.
The Summit International Awards recognized the Accent TV with a Summit Emerging Media Innovator Award. Shortly after that, the TV won a Platinum AVA Digital Award.
This year’s Art on Paper took over Manhattan's Pier 36 in March with 85 galleries featuring modern and contemporary paper-based art. The event, put on by Art Market Productions, was full of artists who are truly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with paper. We came away with plenty of inspiration and excitement, and although it’s difficult to name favorites because there was so much amazing art, these are the pieces that are still on our minds.
